Annexure – A Form 

 

The application is done by filling up the Annexure – A or the Applicant Information Input Form. Users can view this form by logging in. Two distinct phases include a Single Phase for load up to 6 KW. For a load of more than 6 KW, the process will be categorised as Three Phase. Users can also use the Cost Estimate Calculator for ease of calculation.

 

Filling Out the Application

 

Start by visiting the CESC website – www.cesc.co.in. The application form is user-friendly and asks for basic information. Ensure you have all the necessary documents at hand. These might include proof of identity, address, and any other required certificates. 

 

  • Go to the home page and click on the ‘New Connection/Additional Load/Shifting’ option available in the top right corner of the page. 

  • The online application for electricity load enhancement is divided into two sections, one for LT supply with a load less than or equal to 127.50 KW. 

  • The other section is for HT supply with a load greater than 127.50 KW. 

  • Then, another page will open, which will ask for the registered email ID and password. However, if you are new to the entire thing, you can simply register yourself on the same page.

 

Document Submission

 

The digital platform allows you to upload your documents directly. This step is designed to reduce paperwork and minimise errors. Uploading your documents online makes the process safe and ensures that no vital information is lost. Verification and Approval

 

Once your application and documents are submitted, the respective authority reviews your request. The verification process is quick. Trained professionals assess the information and determine if any additional details are needed. When everything is in order, the application moves to the approval stage.

 

Activation of the Enhanced Load

 

After approval, the new load capacity is activated. This means that your connection now supports more power. If every procedure is properly followed, the activation should happen within seven working days. In any case, there won’t be any Right of Way. This activation marks the end of the process, letting you enjoy a seamless increase in electricity capacity.

 

Bill Payment for Load Enhancement

 

The bill payment in this service is divided into two procedures. 

 

  • If the bill comes below ₹2 lakhs, then various online methods for secured bill payment can be adopted. It includes all important online payment services like Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards, NEFT or RTGS. 

  • The facilities are available on the website portal. 

  • However, Cheque Payment or Money Order are not viable payment options here. 

  • If the bill is more than ₹2 lakhs, then online payment is possible, provided that PAN details have been accurately entered. 

  • If anyone wants to pay in cash, then it needs to be in the form of a Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft. 

  • However, those opting for this option need to also provide a self-attested copy of the user’s PAN card.
