The robot doesn’t have as many features as some of the more expensive models we evaluated however, it does have all the essentials. It has a large enough dust bin to hold plenty of dirt before it’s empty and its vacuum and mop system is great for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It’s also extremely quiet. We could watch the TV while it was cleaning without feeling as though we were being constantly bombarded by noise.
Our testers were very impressed by how easy the machine was to operate and set up. They also appreciated its ability to eliminate all the mess from their floors. It even did a pretty excellent job of removing pet hair and messes from carpeting, though it wasn’t as successful in removing stubborn stains. The users found the app to be user-friendly and intuitive, and could schedule the vacuum to be cleaned on a regular basis to reduce the amount they had to do manually. It doesn’t feature the ability to avoid objects or map technology, so it can’t be able to be directed to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundaries are compatible).
